The magazine release has been widened into a paddle type shape, allowing for exceptional ergonomics and faster magazine changes. The bolt has been blackened for a monotone look, with the receiver finished in a black sandblasted finish. The handguard has had palm swell integration for better comfort, control and handling of the platform. The stock is available in a fixed or, for the first time, an underfolding option. During testing some occasional shell casing deflections were noted on sunshade, however the deflections were secondary and no noted impact to POI was observed. Some light casing marks may develop over use on sunshade that are only aesthetic in nature. The accuracy potential of the SR is very ammunition dependent, with best results achieved with Hornady Black 123 GR SST and American Eagle 124 GR FMJ, (av. 5 shot groups at 100 yards@ 1.5-3 MOA). Mixed results observed with other brands. 100 round break-in period was observed, whereby groups began to tighten up further after that point.
