Satre is a pocket-sized, light and extremely resistant fixed blade knife. Given its characteristics, it can be employed in a large variety of activities and fields, including survival and bushcraft, or it can be part of an EDC kit (Every Day Carry). It was designed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, a Master Advanced F.I.S.S.S. instructor (Italian Federation of Sport and Experimental Survival). It can be worn as a neck knife thanks to its Paracord 550 lanyard. This way, it is possible to keep it vertical with the handle facing down. The pre-shaped Kydex sheath has eyelets, allowing to apply both lanyard and accessory holder. The ULTICLIP carry solution will be available from January 2022 (only on extremaratio.com). This allows to clip the sheath together with not only belts, but also pockets, trousers, jackets, shirts and t-shirts. ULTICLIP gives the possibility to position the knife both vertically and horizontally and allows a more accessible use for left and right handed. All three versions of the Satre come with the black sheath. Desert sheath can be purchased as an extra. The full-tang skeletonized structure allows the customization of the knife by using the Paracord as an handle cover. Satre is available in three versions with two different kinds of steel: The Black and Stone Washed versions are made with heat-treated Böhler N690 steel at 58 HRC. This material was chosen for its resistance to oxidation, for the durability of its edge and especially for its reliability, which has been proven over the years. The Black S600 is made with Böhler S600 steel instead. This steel is used for the manufacturing of metalwork and stamp creation tools. It has excellent qualities in terms of hardness, wear resistance and toughness thanks to the presence of molybdenum, tungsten and a significant add of vanadium to its chemical composition. The presence of cobalt stimulates the growth of small uniformly-distributed carbides, which enhance wear resistance. The Satre S600 is thermally and cryogenically treated in order to obtain an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC. This also makes it very resistant to wear and gives the edge a lasting sharpening. The Böhler S600 has 4.5% of chrome, which makes it oxidizable. For this reason, Extrema Ratio has chosen the new EXP DARK finishing. For its extreme hardness and resistance to wear and abrasion this steel is not easy to sharp. This model, with its reduced size and skinner shape, has been transformed into a real tactical knife. The handle is very close to the sharpened edge and presents a curve on the lower side to place the index finger as to avoid injuring during pulling out from the kydex sheath. N.K.2 is a reduced-size knife that enlarges the family of neck knives by Extrema Ratio. The main differences from the predecessor N.K.1 are the tanto blade and the blood-draining slot. The design of the handle prevents accidental injury while drawing. A groove on the back of the blade accommodates for the user’s index finger or thumb, according to wielding style.
Due to its overall construction, the N.K.2 is both capable of offense, through very effective slashing strikes, and useful for minute precision work. The included, rapid-release Kydex sheath comes with a paracord strip for neck carry. Furthermore, it can be attached via MOLLE system to tactical vests or to any of the compatible cordura sheaths from Extrema Ratio.

Versa comes in two distinct models: Versa Satin, perfect for everyday use and Versa Expeditions, more suitable for outdoor, survival and bushcraft contexts.
Both models are made of Böhler N690 steel heat treated to 58 HRC: the Satin version has a satin blade and a black thermoformed kydex sheath while the Expeditions version features a MIL-C-13924 browning and a stone washed finish (Dark Stone). Versa Expeditions comes with a desert-colored thermoformed kydex sheath on which you can attach the Firesteel to light fires (included in the package). Versa is a fixed blade knife with a monolithic structure, machined from a single piece of Bohler N690 steel. The ergonomics are designed to ensure maximum comfort and safety during use.
The skeletonized full-tang structure allows the user to customize the handle by covering it with paracord, further expanding the possibilities of use and customization of the knife. The total length is 180 mm with a Tanto profile blade. The Kydex sheath is designed for quick and safe extraction of the blade.
In neck knife mode Versa can be easily worn around the neck via a 550 paracord lanyard. Furthermore, it can be carried on the belt thanks to a belt clip (optional) or attached to pockets, trousers, jackets and shirts through the use of one or more ULTICLIP (optional). Both solutions allow for left-handed and right-handed carrying. It is also possible to attach the sheath to the MOLLE system.

The Extrema Ratio Misericordia, adopted by the 4th Alpine Ranger that helped develop and test the product. It is a tactical fixed blade knife, extremely light and compact, it can be used both as a main knife or as a backup blade. The blade of the new Extrema Ratio Misericordia is milled out of Böhler N690 steel, hardened at 58 HRC, it is 118 mm/4.64” long and 4mm/0,16” thick and plain edged. The blade has a spear point profile with full length fuller that makes the knife even lighter, with a ¾ length false edge. The blade is available with the classic Extrema Ratio MIL-C-13924 black finish. On the rear end the handle flows connecting with a large ring, which allows the use of martial arts techniques and permit a very solid grip to the hand, equipped with a "skull crusher" appendix in hard metal. The knife overall weight is just 87g/3.1oz. Being a knife designed and intended for professional use, high relevance has been assigned to ease of carry, access and extraction in case of need. The knife is secured to the sheath by a fast release safety that can be easily reversed for left hand use. The high impact nylon sheath is versatile: an adjustable double clamp system enables the user to fit it to various types of belts. A cone shaped inlet eases the knife’s sheathing, while pressing on the trigger-like safety lever allows for a fast, instinctive knife extraction. An optional kydex sheath (sold separately) is also available, equipped with two textile (male velcro strip on one side and female velcro on the other) to wear the knife hiddenly between a bulletproof vest and a magazine holder. The Extrema Ratio S-THIL Stone Washed is a backup tactical knife of monolithic construction milled out of a 5 mm (0.2”) bar of BOHLER N690 steel, developed in cooperation with designer Thilo Arnd Schiller. The spear point blade is heat treated to 58 HRC for best combination of edge retention and toughness. It has a false double edge to make it very effective in thrusting and piercing and has a full length fuller that flows elegantly from the blade into the handle. The blade is milled integral to the knife for better compactness and lightness, with minimum thickness yet with a pattern that reminds of the classical Extrema Ratio knife grip. This profile creates two small guards and a comfortable thumb rest to prevent the hand from slipping towards the blade. On the pommel there is a diamond shaped skull crusher and a slot for a wrist strap or for giving the knife a paracord grip wrap. The stamped nylon sheath has been designed to be extremely flat and very narrow, to keep it as compact as possible. Knife design makes the sheath ambidextrous and allows to insert the knife with the edge on the left or the right. The integral twin retention system is composed of four pressure elements that work one pair at a time, according to the direction the knife is inserted, while the textile nylon part has a button and a strap to secure the knife to the sheath. The tip of the sheath has a hole to allow debris or liquids to be expelled simply by blowing into it. The sheath can be used with belt clip, ULTICLIP or malice clip making it extremely versatile, while it is also possible to attach it to a M.O.L.L.E. webbing just by weaving paracord through it. Extrema Ratio developed the first knife of a new production line, called CONTACT.
It has a blade with a lance-shaped profile, a flat grinding and a diamond-shaped geometry. It has got a lower guard branch to protect the hand from accidental cuts, upper jumping to improve grip, a concave fuller along the entire length of the blade and a generous thickness blade (6.30mm) All these details make the Contact the elder brother of the now famous Requiem, revisited in proportions and in some technical features. The first of a new line of multipurpose knives.
The blade is made in Böhler N690 steel with a hardness of 58 HRC and a chemical burnishing coating for the Black version. All other colours in production have got a blade with Stone Washed finishing. The handle is still in forprene . It is no more assembled by the side screws but thanks to the shank in truncated cone-shaped stainless steel that is screwed to the bottom and goes to fit inside a special seat, which makes it solid. In this way the knife is well balanced. The sheath is minimalist; most of the fabric has been cut off; it has got a 2nd level retention system, remembering the style of the model it was inspired by.
The main shell is injection-molded in shockproof nylon. The secondary retention system is reversible for ambidextrous users. The blade is guided into the sheath thanks to its cone shape that lends itself well to the rapid insertion and extraction of the blade. To extract the blade, a pressure on the trigger will be sufficient, thus releasing the safety that holds it securely in the sheath. In the horizontal slits of the sheath a system is added, which fixes the blade to avoid shaking noises when it is stored inside. The back side of the nylon sheath is M.O.L.L.E. compatible.
The textile part is reduced to its minimum and has got the classic two-button safety strap with a belt loop and a thigh band with rubber reinforcement for anti-rotation. Extrema Ratio aims at this new line by minimizing thickness and size of the knife, but not saving on structural strength and safety accessories.
