The SO SVD-011 is a reproduction of the iconic Russian OKP-7 Red Dot.

The OKP-7 was developed in the early 2000’s, designed to be durable, lightweight, and provide an exceptionally wide and unobstructed field of view. Unlike enclosed tube-style red dots, the OKP-7 uses a single lens with an offset LED emitter and a thin frame. In practice this gives the appearance of the reticle floating in space and provides fast target acquisition and unrivaled peripheral vision. It saw limited use with law enforcement and special purpose units within Russia. The OKP-7 is appreciated as much for its unique engineering and unmistakable appearance as for its practical performance, making it one of the most iconic Russian reflex sights ever produced.

The OKP-7 is equipped with a coated glass lens and has an built-in picatinny base for easy mounting. It is available in two reticles; CETKA-1 (T-Post w/chevron) and CETKA-2 (1+17 Mil Circle Dot) with integral automatic brightness adjustment, designed to work even in bright environments. Powered by two LR44 batteries this sight is guaranteed to will run for 40 hours continuously. Comes with manual, carrying bag, sight cover and batteries. Same make/model as supplied to Chestnut Mountain Mfg. in the USA.
